Austin Wedding Meets Classy European Vibes

Cali and Brandon’s wedding at Villa Antonia was elevated and romantic—and felt like a little trip to Tuscany set in the heart of the TX Hill Country. Just like their downtown Austin engagement session, Cali wanted their wedding to have a classy, luxurious vibe. And wow, Villa Antonia delivered!

The whole day was beautifully smooth and effortless. It felt like everything fell into place perfectly, making for such a relaxed and joyful celebration. Cali and Brandon were incredibly chill and sweet throughout the day, and you could see how much the little details meant to them. They put so much thought into everything, and it really shined through.

Every moment felt like it came from a scene in a classic Hollywood film.

The Villa Antonia Austin Texas Wedding Venue

A Tuscan Oasis in Texas

Villa Antonia is truly one of the most breathtaking venues in the Austin area. With its expansive grounds, the wedding day flowed seamlessly from one beautiful space to the next. From the grand entrance to the cozy corners of the Villa, the venue feels like a Mediterranean escape with every nook and cranny filled with gorgeous details. The sweeping Hill Country views, Villa Antonia’s classical statues, romantic terraces, grand staircases, and water fountains made this venue the perfect setting for Cali and Brandon’s special day.

One of my favorite details from the day was the STUNNING floral arrangements. Cali’s vision came to life with the help of her talented florist, Katya from Duchess Garden Floral, whom I’ve had the honor of working with many times. The blooms truly enhanced the romantic atmosphere.

Getting Ready at the JW Marriott in Downtown Austin

Both Cali and Brandon got ready at the JW Marriott in downtown Austin, which was such a sweet tie-in to their love story’s roots in the city. The getting-ready suites’ floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning views of the skyline and were a beautiful backdrop for their photos. Cali channeled Hollywood glam in her sheer, pearl-encrusted robe while sharing so many sweet moments with her loved ones and bridesmaids.

Meanwhile, Brandon got ready with the guys in another suite with their little son by his side, which made for some of my favorite heart-melting moments. The day began with such a smooth, happy energy, setting the tone for everything that followed.

Sweet Wedding Idea: Private Wedding Vows After the Ceremony

After their traditional Catholic ceremony in a cathedral downtown, Cali and Brandon took a quiet moment to exchange private vows once they arrived at their reception venue. They chose a secluded spot on the grounds to reaffirm their love with the peaceful setting of the Villa as the perfect backdrop. It was such a sweet emotional moment just the two of them, soaking in their day and their love.

Classy & Cool Wedding Portrait Photography | Villa Antonia

Their wedding party portraits looked like something out of a European Vogue shoot—elegant, elevated, and effortlessly cool.

Cali and Brandon were as stunning as ever. We even re-imagined one of their favorite shots from their Capitol engagement session, this time on the Villa’s grand fountain staircase. Every shot captured their cool, sophisticated vibe, with the romantic backdrop of Villa Antonio adding that extra touch of magic.

The Villa Antonia Wedding Reception & Party

The reception began outdoors with Cali and Brandon’s first dance (framed by gorgeous cold sparks from Sparks & Co.) and a delicious dinner with panoramic views and the stunning Tuscan architecture of the courtyard.

One of the highlights of the evening was their champagne tower moment—Cali and Brandon absolutely loved it, and it added a fun, glamorous touch to the evening.


Getting to capture it on film was a vibe 🥂

The flow of the day was so natural, thanks to the spaciousness of the venue, allowing guests to move seamlessly from one beautiful space to the next (and trust me, it was impossible not to wanna wander and soak it all in).

After dinner, the celebration moved indoors for a cake-cutting and an epic dance party. The vibe shifted to a lively, fun energy, with guests dancing the night away inside Villa Antonia’s elegant interiors. The grand finale of the evening was their sparkler exit, which was the perfect way to cap off a day filled with so much joy, love, and celebration.

“Karissa is extremely passionate about her craft and does incredible work. We booked her for our engagement photos as well as wedding day. I had a very specific vision for our engagement photos with a Pinterest board & outfit change & multiple locations in mind.

She paid close attention to my Pinterest board and made sure I got every shot I wanted as well as some of her own ideas that turned out beautifully. She also looked into the 2 locations we had and found the best places to shoot as well as some other parts of those locations I hadn’t thought about and the pictures there turned out better than my Pinterest inspiration.

She’s also so kind & sweet & makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. The photos speak for themselves. She’s also good about getting the edited pictures back to you quickly. After our engagement shoot we received 700 photos and every single one of them was stunning. She really takes it the extra mile and her work is insane. 10/10 recommend. I’ll be staring at all of her photos for the rest of my life & will find any excuse to post them lol.”
