One of my favorite parts about being a couples photographer in Fredericksburg, TX is that I get to capture some of the most exciting moments! Proposing to your significant other is a hot commodity in Fredericksburg and it is so important to choose the perfect location. One of my favorite vineyards is Augusta Vin and it is the perfect proposal spot! The staff is so sweet and accommodating and they love being apart of your most special day. The scenery is absolutely stunning — acres of luscious rows of vines, a relaxing atmosphere and a spectacular selection of wine, it truly doesn’t get better than that.

Chris reached out to me to photograph his proposal is Fredericksburg and we worked together to create the perfect moment! After the live music set was over, he planned to propose front and center. They took a seat outside & had a glass of wine together. I pretended that I was a photographer for Augusta Vin and I asked them if I could take a picture of them for social media. They obliged and Priyanka had no idea that in just a few moments, Chris was going to get down on one knee. After I had posed them for the “photo I needed for social media,” they were all set up for Chris to propose. He got down on one knee and immediately you saw how surprised Priyanka was.

Not only was the proposal surprising and unexpected, that’s not the only surprise that Chris had planned. Right after he proposed both of their families came out of hiding to celebrate this special moment with them.

After they had some time to celebrate with their family we roamed around Augusta for some stunning engagement photos during golden hour. It was such a special and effortless time with Chris & Priyanka!
